AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE APPOINTMENT OF JUDGES OR AL-
TERNATE JUDGES TO SERVE IN CONNECTION WITH THE ELECTION OF
APRIL 6, 1985.
Whereas, Ordinance No. 1572, passed and approved on the
14th day of February, 1985, provided for the election of
Councilmen for Places 1, 3, and 5 and for the submission of
a proposition to the electorate of the City of College Sta-
tion, at an election to be held April 6, 1985, and provided
for election judges and alternate judges, and
Whereas, certain judges or alternates named therein may
not be available to serve on the date of said election, and
Whereas, Article 3.01, Texas Election Code, provides
that the City Council shall have the authority to provide
for Judges and Alternate Judges as necessary.
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS:
That Rita Stout is hereby removed as Alternate Judge
for Precinct No. 32 and is hereby displaced as the alternate
for Presiding Judge Kay Parker. Beverly Wagner is hereby
authorized and approved as the Alternate Judge in Precinct
No. 32 and is designated as Alternate Judge for Presiding
Judge Kay Parker.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 6th day of March, 1985.
