AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A FIRE LANE ON THE DEDICATED PUBLIC AL-
LEY IN THE COLLEGE HILLS ESTATES SHOPPING VILLAGE.
WHEREAS, College Hills Estates Company dedicated to the City of
College Station an alley on January 1, 1940 in the College Hills
Estates Shopping Village by plat recorded at Volume 102, Page 93,
in the plat records, Brazos County, Texas; and
WHEREAS, at the time that this subdivision was platted, the City
of College Station did not require fire lanes; and
WHEREAS, the City of College Station has received a request for
the designation of the dedicated alley, more fully described as
follows:
A twenty foot wide (20') alley, 263.9 feet
long, running to the rear and adjacent to Lots
6 through 20 of Block 3 of the revised College
Hills Estates Shopping Village plat recorded
at Volume 102, Page 93 of the plat records of
Brazos County, Texas,
as a fire lane; and
WHEREAS, the Chief of the Fire Department has inspected the alley
and has found that designation of the alley as a fire lane would
be appropriate.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS, that:

The public alley described as:
A twenty foot wide (20') alley, 263.9 feet
long, running to the rear and adjacent to Lots
6 through 20 of Block 3 of the revised College
Hills Estates Shopping Village plat recorded
at Volume 102, Page 93 of the plat records of
Brazos County, Texas,

is hereby designated as a fire lane. The area shall be marked by
the office of the Fire Marshal in accordance with Chapter 6, Fire
Protection, Section 1, Subsection B of the City of College Sta-
tion Code of Ordinances.
PASSED, ADOPTED, and APPROVED this 26th day of May ,
1988.
