AN ORDINANCE REVOKING SECTION 15 OF CHAPTER 4 OF THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION PERTAINING TO THE SALE
OF GLUE AND SPRAY PAINT TO MINORS.
WHEREAS, the City Council has found that Article 4476-13a, Texas
Revised Civil Statutes, provides for the regulation of the
possession and delivery of volatile chemicals; and
WHEREAS, the City of College Station City Council has found that
the statute is the preferred enforcement tool over Section 15 of
Chapter 4 of the business regulations;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS, that Section 15 of Chapter 4 of the City
of College Station pertaining to the sale of glue and spray paint
to minors is hereby revoked and repealed.
