AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SUBSECTION B OF SECTION 1.2 OF ORDINANCE
NO. 1638 CONCERNING STATUTORY AUTHORITY FOR CHANGES TO THE OFFI-
CIAL ZONING MAP.
WHEREAS, the current ordinance refers to the prior statutes.
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COL-
LEGE STATION, TEXAS, that:
I.
Subsection B of Section 1.2 of Ordinance No. 1638 of the City of
College Station is hereby amended to read as follows:
"B. This is to certify that this is the Official Zoning Map re-
ferred to in Section 1 of Ordinance No. 850 of the City of
College Station, Texas, dated October, 1972. If, in accor-
dance with the provisions of this ordinance and Section
211.006 of the Texas Local Government Code, as amended,
changes are made in the district boundaries or other matter
portrayed on the Official Zoning Map, such changes shall be
entered on the Official Zoning Map, promptly after the
amendment has been approved by the City Council and signed
by the Mayor."
II.
This ordinance shall become effective from and after its
passage in accordance with the City Charter of the City of Col-
lege Station.
