AN ORDINANCE REZONING A TRACT OF LAND SITUATED OUT OF THE
CRAWFORD BURNETT LEAGUE ABSTRACT NO. 7, AND PART OF 28.42
ACHES HECORDED IN VOLUME 161 PAGE 578 OF THE BRAZOS COUNTY
DEED HECORDS COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS FROM H-6 MULTI-FAMILY
HESIDENTIAL TO C-1 GENERAL COMMERCIAL.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE
STATION, TEXAS:
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing in the City
Hall Council Chambers at 7:00 P.M. on January 10, 1991, on
the question of rezoning certain areas within the City
limits:
AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has determined the following:
To rezone or change the classification of a tract of land
situated out of the Crawford Burnett League Abstract No. 7,
and part of 28.42 acres recorded in Volume 161 Page 578 of
the Brazos County Deed Records, College Station, Texas from
R-6 Multi-Family Residential to C-1 General Commercial.
More specifically described as a 1.15 acre tract of land
with the boundary:
Beginning at a corner which is the most southerly corner of
the College Station Kapchinski Hill Subdivision;
Thence, S 48° 48' 15" W a distance of 80.32 feet to the most
easterly corner of the College Station Polar-Bek
Subdivision;
Thence, N 36° 03' 16" W a distance of 610.20 feet along the
Polar-Bek Subdivision property line to a corner;
Thence, N 81° 03' 16" W a distance of 28.28 feet along the
Polar-Bek Subdivision property lines to a corner;
Thence, N 53° 56' 44" E a distance of 80.00 feet along the
Kapchinski Hill Subdivision property line to a corner;
Thence, S 81° 03' 16" E a distance of 28.28 feet along the
Kapchinski Mill Subdivision property line to a corner;
Thence, S 368 03' 16" E a distance of 603.00 feet along the
Kapchinski Hill Subdivision property line to a corner which
is the point of Beginning.
AND, It is ordained that said change shall become effective
immediately contingent upon the replat of Kapchinski Hill
Subdivision to include the above referenced strip.
