AN ORDINANCE RENAMING FAWN STREET, WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF
COLLEGE STATION, TO FAIRFAX.
WHEREAS, The City has determined potential problems w~th two streets in
College Station being similarly named; and,
WHEREAS, The property owners on the affected street have been notified in
writing and given the opportunity to suggest alternate names for the street; and,
WHEREAS, having determined that the citizens of Fawn Street, and the citizens
of Fawn CT. would all ultimately benefit from the change because it reduces the
potential for emergency vehicles responding to incorrect addresses,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS, that Fawn Street be renamed Fa~rfax, and
that, mindful that owners of property abutting Fawn Street may be affected by
this change and will need to make certain arrangements, the City Council of the
C~ty of College Station further ordains that this change shall not become
effecbve until the 1st day of July 1994
PASSED, ADOPTED, and APPROVED this 24th day of February, 1994.
