AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE, ORDINANCE NO. 1638,
SECTION 18.1, OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS, AMENDING THE
PENALTY SECTION; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS:

That Section 18.1 of Ordinance No. 1638, the Zoning Ordinance, of the Code of Ordi-
nances of the City of College Station, Texas, pertaining to the Penalty for Violation, is
hereby amended to read as follows:
"SECTION 18.1: PENALTY FOR VIOLATION
Any person who violates or fa s to comply with the r.equirements of this ordinance, .or
who builds or a ters any building or structur..e, in .violation. of any plan .o.r ~..at, e.m .ent s_uo-
mitted and approved hereunder, shall be guilty or a misaemeanor ana oe liable to anne
pursuant to the General Penalty set out in Chapter 1, Section 5, of the C.ode of
Ordinances of the C ty of Col ege Station. The owner of any building or premises or
part thereof, where anything in violation of this ord!nance shall be placed or shall exist,
shall be guilty of a separate offense and upon comnction thereof shall be fined as herein
provided.
2.
And, it is ordained that this ordinance shall become effective from and after its passage
in accordance with the City Charter of the City of College Station.
