HomeMy WebLinkAbout1993-2003 - Ordinance - 03/11/1993ORDINANCE NO. 2003 AN ORDINANCE VACATINGAND ABANDONING A UTILITY EASEMENT WHICH LIES BETWEEN LOT 4 AND LOT 5, BLOCK 15, FOXFIRE PHASE IV, IN THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS. WHEREAS, the City of College Station, has received an Application for the Abandonment of a Utility Easement which lies between Lot 4 and Lot 5, Block 15, Foxfire Phase IV, in the City of College Station, more particularly described on Exhibit "A" attached hereto; and WHEREAS, on March 11, 1993, the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas, heard the application of Michael W. and Julie D. Middleton for the vacation and abandonment of the util- ity easement which lies between Lot 4 and Lot 5, Block 15, Fox- fire Phase IV, according to the plat recorded in Volume 717, Page 765, of the Deed Records of Brazos County, Texas; NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the City Council of the city of College Station, Texas, that a twenty foot (20~) wide strip of land previously platted as a utility easement which lies between Lot 4 and Lot 5, Block 15, Foxfire Phase IV, in the City of College Station, be abandoned and vacated; that the Mayor and City Secretary be authorized to convey by quit claim deed on be- half of the City of College Station any right or claim which the City has in and to said twenty foot (20~) wide strip of land to Michael W. and Julie D.
