AN ORDINANCE REZONING AN 0.43 ACRE TRACT SITUATED IN THE
CRAWFORD BURNETF LEAGUE IN COLLEGE STATION, BRAZOS COUNTY,
TEXAS BEING A PART OF THAT TRACT CONVEYED TO W. D. FITCH BY DEED
RECORDED IN VOLUME 1040, PAGE 240 OF THE OFFICIAL RECORDS OF
BRAZOS COUNTY, TEXAS FROM R-1 SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL TO R-4
LOW DENSITY APARTMENTS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE
STATION, TEXAS:
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing in the Ctty Hall Council Chambers at
7:00 P.M. on Thursday, December 10, 1992. on the question of rezoning certain areas
within the City limtts:
AND, WHEREAS. the City Council has determined the following:
To rezone or change the classtfication of all that certain tract or parcel of land lying and
being situated tn the Crawtbrd Burnett League in College Station, Brazos County, Texas,
being a part of that tract conveyed to W. D. Fitch by deed recorded in Volume 1040, Page
240 of the Offictal Records of Brazos County, Texas fr.o.m R-1 Stagle Family Res!dential to
R-4 Low Denstty Apartments. Satd tract is more particularly described as follows.
Beginning tn the southw~sl hne of R~o Grande Boulevard at the mo~t easterly corner of
Southv,~ood Forest Phase Four addmon to the Ctty of Col/ege Station, Texas. according to
plat of record in Volume 1207. Page 589 of the Officufl Records of Brazos County. Texas.
Thence S 34° 02' 06' W - 34886 feet along thc soulheast line of Southwood Forest Phase
Four lo the rear common corner of lots 6 and 7 of the same;
Thence N 51° 57' 01" E - 352 58 feel through the said W. D. Filch tracl lo the Soulhw~sl
line of Rio Grande Boulevard,
Thence N 48° 56' 00' W - 109.28 feet along the soulhwest line of Rio Grande Boulevard to
the point of begmmng and containing 0.43 acre~ of land more or less.
AND, it is ordmned that satd change shall become effective immediately.
