AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 101 SECTION 2D, OF THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION RELATING TO SPECIAL
HAZARD INTERSECTIONS CONTROLLED BY STOP SIGNS, AND
DECLARING THAT ATTENDANT FACTS NECESSITATE IMMEDIATE ACTION
WHEREAS the City Council met at ~ts regular meeting on .June 23, 1994,
and found that it would be ~n the best ~nterest and safety of the clt zens to
amend Chapter 10, Section 2D, of the Code of Ordinances by adding stop
signs at the following intersecbons
1. Spring Creek NB at Sewer Plant Road
2 Crystal Oaks WB at Spring Creek
3. Wildewood SB at Spnng Creek
4. Shadow Oaks SB at Spring Creek
5. White Rose Ct SB at Spring Creek
6 Spring Creek EB at Appomattox
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CiTY OF
COLLEGE STATION THAT.
I.
Chapter 10, Section 2D, of the Code of Ordinances is hereby amended as follows.
D SPECIAL HAZARD INTERSECTIONS
CONTROLLED BY STOP SIGNS
The City hereby designates certain special hazard intersections to be
controlled by stop signs The designated special hazard intersections for the
C~ty of College Station to be controlled by stop signs are described in Traffic
Control Device Inventory - Schedule III (dated August 2, 1988, as amended) on
file ~n the office of the C~ty Secretary This schedule ~s hereby adopted and ~n-
corporated ~n th~s Code as ~f set out at length herein and ~s amended by adding
stop s~gns at the following special hazard ~ntersect~ons
1. Spring Creek NB at Sewer Plant Road
2 Crystal Oaks W8 at Spr~ng Creek
3 Wddewood SB at Spring Creek
4 Shadow Oaks SB at Spnng Creek
5 White Rose Ct SB at Spring Creek
6 Spring Creek EB at Appomattox
The schedule may be amended from t~me to t~me by ordinance of the City
Council A current schedule shall be maintained by the C~ty Secretary at all
t~mes

The preservation of the general welfare of the public necessitates ~mmed~ate
action This Ordinance shall be effective from and after the date of its passage
as provided by the Charter of the C~ty of College Station
