1. Discussion and approval of a budget amendment to Breast and Cervical Cancer
Screening Program (BCCSP) to increase the amount of revenue for C-4 clinic in
the amount of $35,000 from Texas A&M Seedling Grant – Santos Navarrette Jr.
2. Discussion and approval of the BCHD’s 2026-2029 Strategic Plan which is a
required element for Public Health Accreditation (PHAB) certification with
change proposed by Chair, BOH – Santos Navarrette Jr.
3. Discussion and acknowledgement of engagement notice from Whitley Penn, LLP
to conduct an audit of the BCHD’s financial statements and governmental
activities in FY 2026 – Santos Navarrette Jr.
4. Next meeting September 17, 2026.
