1. Call meeting to order.
2. Consideration, discussion, and possible action of Planning and Zoning Commission
training, including governance principles, an overview of plans, and overview of
regulatory tools.
3. Consideration, discussion, and possible action on an overview of the 2012 Planning and
Zoning Commission Plan of Work and development of the 2013 Planning and Zoning
Commission Plan of Work.
a) Objective of the P &Z Plan of Work
b) Overview of the City Council's Strategic Plan
c) Review of 2012 and previous P &Z Plans of Work
d) Development of 2013 P &Z Plan of Work
4. Consideration, discussion, and possible action on appointments to the Planning and
Zoning Commission subcommittees.
a) Design Review Board (Ashfield)
b) BioCorridor Board (Two to be Appointed by City Council)
c) Joint Parks /P &Z Subcommittee (Rektorik and Vacant)
d) South Knoll Neighborhood Plan (Warner)
e) Wellborn Area District Plan (Ashfield)
f) Joint Task Force on Neighborhood Parking Issues (Ross, Warner, Rektorik)

5. Consideration, discussion, and possible action on an evaluation of how project
information is provided to the Planning and Zoning Commission and an evaluation of
Planning and Zoning Commission meetings.
6. Discussion and possible action on future agenda items — A Planning and Zoning Member
may inquire about a subject for which notice has not been given. A statement of specific
factual information or the recitation of existing policy may be given. Any deliberation
shall be limited to a proposal to place the subject on an agenda for a subsequent meeting.
7. Adjourn.
Consultation with Attorney {Gov't Code Section 551.071} ; possible action.
The Planning and Zoning Commission may seek advice from its attorney regarding a pending and contemplated litigation subject
or attorney- client privileged information. After executive session discussion, any final action or vote taken will be in public. If
litigation or attorney- client privileged information issues arise as to the posted subject matter of this Planning and Zoning
Commission meeting, an executive session will be held.
Notice is hereby given that a Regular Meeting of the College Station Planning and Zoning Commission, College Station,
Texas will be held on the Monday, October 29, 2012 at 4:00 PM at the Wolf Pen Creek Green Room, 1015 Colgate Drive,
College Station, Texas. The following subjects will be discussed, to wit: See Agenda.
