AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 1, GENERAL PROVISIONS, SECTION
13, ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES, OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY
OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS, BY AMENDING CERTAIN SECTIONS AS SET
OUT BELOW; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF COLLEGE
PART 1'
That Chapter 1, General Provisions, of the Code of Ordinances of the City
of College Station, Texas, be amended as set out in Exhibit "A", attached
hereto and made a part of this ordinance for all purposes.
PART 2'
That this Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon passage by
the City Council as provided by Section 35 of the Charter of the City of
College Station.

EXHIBIT "A"
That Chapter 1, General Provisions, Section 13, Alcoholic Beverages, Paragraph A, ~
Council Adopts Hours Prescribed in Texas Alcoholic Beverage Code; Paragraph B,
Consumption and Possession of Alcoholic Beverages; and Paragraph C, Selling of
Alcoholic Beverage..s; are hereby repealed and a new Paragraph A, Extended Hours, is
approved and shall read as follows'
"SECTION 13' ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES
A. EXTENDED HOURS
The City Council hereby adopts the extended hours of sale for "mixed
beverages" and "beer and wine" on any day shall be 2:00 a.m., as provided by
V.T.C.A., ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE CODE, Chapter 105, Hours of Sale and
Consumption."
