Call to Order. 1938 2013 2. Hear Visitors. Visitors after stating name and address for the record may address the Historic Preservation Committee for three (3) minutes. Topics for deliberation shall be discussed under the appropriate agenda item, placed on the agenda of a subsequent meeting, or assigned to staff for research. However, a statement of specific factual information or the recitation of existing policy may be issued. 3. Possible action and discussion on absence requests. 4. Possible action and discussion of minutes for: • March 5, 2012 5. Reminder to HPC members with expiring terms to reapply, in order to be considered by City Council for reappointment. Deadline is June 29, 2012. 6. Report from HPC staff on activities —Jacob Morris. 7. Proposed historical marker for 1009 Walton (Binney home) - -MD Marshall. 8. Review, possible action, and discussion regarding the following sub - committees: • Historic Marker Program – M.D. Marshall • Oral History Transcription Project – Lou Hodges • Exploring History Lunch Lecture Series – Susan Irza, Marci Rodgers, Ann Hayes, Jerry Cooper • 75th Anniversary – Linda Harvell, Patricia Cleere, Jerry Cooper, Susan Irza • College Station Oral History Interviews & Educational Initiatives – Libby Vastano, Susan Irza 9. Presentation and discussion of historical items presented by committee members, which may include historical books, pictures, artifacts, scrapbooks, or other memorabilia. No action will be taken. 10.
