College Station, TX 77845 Dear Mr. Jones,  As part of the preparations for the city of College Station’s 75th anniversary celebration in 2013, the Heritage Programs office and the Historic Preservation Committee will be conducting interviews with some former city council members.    These interviews will be conducted at the College Station Conference Center on George Bush Drive. Mrs. Libby Vastano will be contacting you in the next week to schedule your specific interview time. The oral interviews will be recorded  during one-hour sessions.   If you have items of memorabilia from the time that you served, please feel free to bring them to the interview. These items will be photographed and scanned into the Project HOLD, historic online library database.  Included with this letter is a list of proposed questions for the interview. We may not get to all of the questions, so please star the four questions that you especially want to speak to during the interview. If there are questions that you do not wish to answer, please mark through them. If there are questions you wish to be asked that aren’t included in the questionnaire, please write them at the bottom of the questionnaire.  You will be given a copy of the interview for your files. A copy will also be in the Project HOLD archive. Excerpts from these interviews may be included in the history of College Station which is being written by Bill Harper..   Thank you for your service to our city and for helping us to preserve our valuable city history.
