1. Call to Order
2. Discussion, Consideration, and Possible Action regarding the March 3, 2010, Minutes of
the Brazos Valley Solid Waste Management Agency, Inc.
3. Discussion, Consideration, and Possible Action regarding a Resolution to approve the
Brazos Valley Solid Waste Management Agency, Inc. Bylaws, which were reviewed and
informally adopted by the BVSWMA Board on March 3, 2010 and as approved by the
City Councils of the City of Bryan, Texas (March 9, 2010), and College Station, Texas
(March 25, 2010)
4. Discussion, Consideration, and Possible Action regarding a Resolution establishing the
regular meeting date(s) and annual meeting of the Brazos Valley Solid Waste
Management Agency, Inc., Board
5. Discussion, Consideration, and Possible Action regarding the Brazos Valley Solid Waste
Management Agency, Inc. Executive Director position including but not limited to a job
description, salary range, benefits, and hiring process
6. Discussion, Consideration, and Possible Action regarding three (3) Resolutions to
acknowledge and consent to the Permitee name change or Transfer of permits relating to
the operation of the facilities of the Brazos Valley Solid Waste Management Agency, Inc.
on the behalf of the Cities of Bryan, Texas, and College Station, Texas:
a. Permit MSW 1444C — Permitee name change.
b. Permit MSW 2292 — Permitee name change.
c. Registration MSW 42003 — Transfer.
7. Discussion, Consideration, and Possible Action regarding a Resolution to establish a
temporary and permanent Repository of Record for official documents of the Brazos
Valley Solid Waste Management Agency, Inc.
8. Discussion, Consideration, and Possible Action regarding the "Asset Transfer and Debt
Reimbursement Agreement" among the City of Bryan, Texas, the City of College
Station, Texas, and Brazos Valley Solid Waste Management Agency, Inc.
9. Discussion, Consideration, and Possible Action regarding the "Solid Waste Facilities
kliw Operations Agreement" among the City of Bryan, Texas, the City of College Station,
Texas, and Brazos Valley Solid Waste Management Agency, Inc.
10. Possible Staff Report, Update, and Direction from the BVSWMA Board to staff
regarding:
a. Proposed Contracts
b. Insurance Requirements and Needs
c. Memorandum of Understanding regarding Reimbursement of Debt as issued by
the Cities of Bryan and College Station
d. Twin Oaks Landfill Construction
11. Executive Session: Pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.074 — personnel,
discussion of selection of seventh Brazos Valley Solid Waste Management Agency, Inc.,
Board of Director member and discussion of Executive Director.
12. Open Session for Possible Action Following Executive Session
13. Adjourn
The Board reserves the right to go into executive session to seek legal advice regarding an agenda item at
anytime during the meeting pursuant to Texas Government Code, Section 551.071.
