CITIZENS CHARTER REVIEW COMMISSION
REGULAR MEETING

The City Council may or may not attend the Citizens Charter Review Commission Meeting.
1. Call to Order and Roll Call.
2. Hear Visitors: A citizen may address the Commission on any item which does not appear on the
posted Agenda. Speakers must sign in no later than fifteen minutes before the meeting. Remarks will be
limited to three minutes. The Commission will receive the information, ask staff to look into the matter,
or place the issue on a future agenda. Comments should not personally attack other speakers,
Commission, or staff.
3. Presentation, possible action, and discussion on minutes for September 7, 2011 Regular Meeting.
4. Review and discussion on public education materials provided by the Public Communications Office
for the Charter Amendment Election to be held November 8, 2011.
5. Presentation, possible action, and discussion on Charter changes already reviewed and approved on the
Plan of Work.
6. Presentation, possible action, and discussion on recommended legal changes to the Charter.
7. Presentation, possible action, and discussion on new meeting dates and times or possible suspension
until January 2012.
8. Presentation, possible action, and discussion on the attached Plan of Work, any items on the Plan of
Work, and possible criteria to be used in order to add items to the Plan of Work.
9. Discussion and possible action on future agenda items — A Citizens Charter Review Commission
Member may inquire about a subject for which notice has not been given. A statement of specific factual
information or the recitation of existing policy may be given. Any deliberation shall be limited to a
proposal to place the subject on an agenda for a subsequent meeting.
10. Adjourn.
