RECREATION
COIIEgE STATION
Wolf Pen Creek Park
The College Station City Council has conducted a major
study and adopted a master plan to provide for the
development of the Wolf Pen Creek Corridor. The Council
has recognized the Corridor's potential. Their goal is to:
"Develop a comprehensive plan to recognize the interrela-
tionship of drainage, erosion and recreation as they apply
to the Wolf Pen Creek Corridor from Texas Avenue to the
East Bypass, as well as, to create a community attraction
for College Station residents and out -of -town guests. "
To this end the City Council has designated the implemen-
tation of this plan as their Number One Issue for 1990.
Design of Phase I is in progress with completion of this
first project anticipated for 1991.
