oRDINANCE No. 3249
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 10, "TRAFFIC CODE", OF THE CGDE OF
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS, BY AMENDING
SECTION 4E "NO PARKING" T4 INCLUDE PROHIBITING PARKING GN HORSE HAVEN LANE, HORSE SHOE DRIVE, HORSEBACK COURT, HGRSEBACK DRNE, AND
MANDI COURT; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; DECLARING A PENALTY;
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY GF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS:
PART 1: That Chapter 10, "Traffic Code", of the Code of Ordinances of the City of College
Station, Texas, be amended as set out in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and made a
part of this ordinance for all purposes.
PART 2: That if any provisions of any section of this ordinance shall be held to be void or
unconstitutional, such holding shall in no way effect the validity of the remaining
provisions or sections of this ordinance, which shall remain in full force and
effect.
PART 3: That any person, firm, or corporation violating any of the provisions of this
chapter shall be deemed liable for a civil offense andlor guilty of a Class C
misdemeanor, and, upon a finding of liability thereof, shall be punished by a civil
penalty of not less than One Dollar x$1.40} nor more than Two Thousand Dollars
($2,400.00}, or upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by a f ne of not less
than Twenty-five Dollars x$25.00} nor more than Five Hundred Dollars x$504.40}.
Said Ordinance becomes effective ten X10} days after date of passage by the City
Council, as provided by Section 35 of the Charter of the City of College Station.

That the Traffic Control Device Inventory -Schedule III as referenced in Chapter 10, "Traffic
Code", Section 4, "Administrative Adjudication of Parking Violations," Sub-section E is hereby
amended to include the following:
Horse Haven Lane No Parking on the south side of Horse Haven Lane beginning 200 feet west
of the intersection with Appomattox Drive and extending to the intersection with Horseback
Court.
Horseback Drive -For the western section of this looped street, No Parking will be allowed on
the east of the roadway beginning at the intersection with Horse Haven Lane. For the southern
section of this street, parking shall be prohibited on the north side of the street. For the eastern
section of the street, parking shall be prohibited on the west side of the street and ending at the
intersection with Horse Haven Lane.
Horseback Court - No Parking on the west side of Horseback Court beginning at the intersection
with Horse Haven Lane and extending north to the cul-de-sac.
Horse Shoe Drive - No Parking on the west and south sides of Horse Shoe Drive beginning at
the intersection with Horse Haven Lane and ending at the intersection with Appomattox Drive.
Mandi Court No Parking on the south and east sides of Mandi Court beginning at the
intersection with Horse Shoe Drive and ending at the cul-de-sac.
