Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday, October y 16, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Chapel in . r Bryan. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Sunday, .tE::..i.::;;i4i i i October 17, at St. Anthony's Catholic , - Church in Bryan with The Reverend Patrick Ebner officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Bryan. Pete was born September 21, 1930 in Mumford, Texas to Steve and Laura Morello Marino. He moved to Bryan in 1943. He served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War and was , a former member of the VFW Brazos County Post No. 4692. Pete was a longtime member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church and was a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus Msgr. • Gleissner Council 1834 of Bryan. He was Extruder Operator for the International Shoe Factory in Bryan, where he retired after 22 years of service. Pete loved to fish and deer hunt, but most of all, he loved his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Steve Pete Marino in 1995; stepmother, Josie Emola Marino; and brother* Steve Marion, Jr., Frank Marino, Louis Marino, Sam Marino, and John Marino. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Marie Licce Marino of Bryan; daughters and sons -in -law, Laura and Floyd Okonski of College Station, Teresa and Steve Everts of Galveston, and Jo Louise and Robert Pike of Longview, Texas; eight grandchildren, Tony Okonski, Nathan Okonski, Michelle Kupper and her husband, Casey, D.J. Mazurkiewicz, Katrina Marino, Robert Muse, Gentry Garcia, son of Steven Pete Marino, and Brianna Patranella and her husband, Kevin; and six great - grandchildren, Stephanie Marino, Gavin Muse, Emma and pg; Gray Kupper, Kaylyn and Kylee Patranella.
