Although President Earl Rudder agreed to the shelters and supplies in the 1960 it is believed that very few if any could be used at this time. The supplies have been vandalized over the past twenty years and those remaining are outdated and in poor shape. These supplies are creating space and housekeeping problems for the Uni- versity. Some of the supplies have had to be re- located because of federal regulations pertaining to combustibles near PCB transformers, and others have had to be destroyed. - Texas A &M President, Dr. Frank Vandiver, is in agreement that these ,lull defense materials should be removed. His aooroval is indicated below. Please feel free to call me if you have any questions. Your assistance in this matter will be appreciated. Yours very truly, Robert H.
