PRESIDING: Jake Canglose
The following items were discussed at the meeting:
1. General discussion of TWISTER II Exercise to be
conducted from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on February 27, 1986.
2. It was agreed that there would be no field operations.
3. All jurisdictions would use the exercise to test
warning and notification procedures. In general, internal
procedures will be tested for warning, notification, and
communications. (Note: schools, hospitals, and anyone
else interested may be included).
4. Each jurisdiction will activate EOC's, Bryan,
College Station, Brazos County (central EOC), and Texas
A&M University.
5. We are to buy 3 or 4 Regency Radios in order to
have common frequency between all EOC's.
6. Dick Zimmer to see about getting antennae installed
on roof of courthouse.
