July 27, 1981 - 10 a.m.
Colonel Carroll W. Bell was presented a Citation and a Medal
by Judge R. J. Holmgreen. This honored Colonel Bell for his
25 years of U. S. Air Force Service. This includes Active
Reserve duty as Moblization Designee with the Brazos County
Civil Defense from 1973 to 1981.
The KAMU T.V. filmed a part of the presentation and presented
it on their 6:30 p.m. News.
Judge Holmgreen then commended Jake Canglose for his continu-
ing excellent service as Civil Defense Director.
Jake Canglose, Ed Burns, Capt. Warren Heffington (MOBDES) and
Ben Wormeli attended this session to honor Colonel Bell.
