Present: Jake Canglose, Carroll Bell, Warren Heffington,
Harry Stiteler, Ed Burns, Ben Wormeli
Chairman: Jake Canglose
On Wednesday, January 9 Larry Ayres and Rufus
Woody, NCP Planners of DES Austin will come to
Jake's Office to plan a Nuclear Civil Protection
Seminar involving Brazos, Burleson, Grimes and
Robertson Counties.
We recommend that this meeting be held Wednesday,
March 19, 1 to 5 p.m. in the Brazos Center.
X A plan for the renovation and addition to the
Brazos County Courthouse is complete.On January
26 there will be a Bond Election to vote in favor,
authorizing the Commissioners Court to issue Bonds
in the amount of $10,000,000 for this purpose.
Plans for new space and facilities for Civil De-
fense are included.
x A County -wide Radio Communications Unit is being
set up with its base in the Sheriff's Office. It
will serve the rural Fire Departments in contacting
the City Fire Departments when needed. This unit
is being purchased from the Texas Forest Service
and funded by the Brazos Valley Development Council.

at 5:00 p.m. in the Brazos County Courthouse.

gency Planning agenda items for Bryan, College Station,
Texas A&M University and Brazos County.
