Present: Judge W. R. Vance, Col. Carroll Bell, Major Charles Phelps, Dr. Ed Burns,
Mr. James Presswood, Mr. Jake Canglose and Mr. Ben Wormeli.
Presided: Jake Canglose
Major Charles Phelps, of the Bryan Police Dept., was appointed 4/1/76
as Deputy Director for Bryan.
Friday, Friday, April 30th, Tom Hannigan from DCPAts National Office will survey
April 30th and evaluate the effectiveness of DCPAts programs in Brazos County. He will
be accompanied by Mr. Hunter of Waco.
Last An Emergency Operations Simulation Exercise is scheduled for the last
Week of week of May involving Brazos County, Bryan, College Station and TAMU.

Month of Charles Harrison, of DPS - Div. of Disaster Emergency Services will be

May 5th Plan to meet May 5th (Wednesday)A.M. with Judge Vance and City Managers,
Bardell and Odle to identify types of Disaster for the Exercise.
April 12th Jake Canglose and James Presswood met with TAMU V.P. Gen. A. R. Luedecke
to clarify authority for disaster preparation and recovery. Tornado
warning system meeting planned.
