Present: Louis Odle, Capt. Blanz, KAMU, Judge Wm. R. Vance,
James Presswood, Col. Carroll Bell, Jake Canglose and

O.K. use metal building- until someone has more priority
Budget: Jake: If need C.D. purchases early in year
before account is adequate to pay for it?
Judge Vance: says the County will handle the payment and
will balance out with Bryan and College Station at the end
of the year.

Budget: $1000
Need 3 radios.
Jake: University aught to buy one for James Presswood.
Will visit Council.
Judge
Vance: Suggested 2 wave length car radio -one on City of Bryan
and one on Civil Defense - about 400
Jake will get /
Judge Vance has 8 Channel .
154.085 Now has Jake 2 way.
Also has 2 A_ Station needs 2 new crystals.
A11 Directors should have a C.D. Radio.

The Brazos County Civil Defense Meeting will be held on
Thursday, September 4th at 5:01 P. M. in the Civil Defense
Office in the Courthouse.
A representative of the State Civil Defense Office will
attend this session to help develop plans with our local
government officials for a county wide Emergency Operation
Simulation Exercise.
THIS IS ONE MEETING AT WHICH I NEED YOUR ATTENDANCE.
