Cities to plan on possibility of opening public ls for tornadoes. III. Sirens Plans in question of mobile sirens - possible in addition to existing. School Tornado Program, including Tone Alert - good response. North Bardell - Need spare tone alert amts to replace those that fail. Jake will write school to call back. Tornado (,4 Need three 2 -way radio mobil units about 300 each for those who Jake needs to contact. BVDC matching funds can't use now Emergency Medical Services. Bardell, Odle and Judge to meet 8:30 A.M. May 2, 1975 to talk about C.D. funding. Combine into one fund. Housing - Odle still working on fire station area. When C.D. issues a warning people call and ask where she should go - panic. - Want to know where public shelters are. Wayne Keese article - go to nearest C.D. building - contact C.D. Shelters are for National Emergency. Ft. Worth C.D/ Director called him and corrected him/ Jake: Need a public policy for answering the public inquiries for where to go for shelter. Will consider this - Odle and Bardell - can use City Halls and Fire and Police Stations, or, do we say don't have. Odle at next meeting will bring Bryan and College Station Police and Fire Chiefs to discuss policy of public shelters and emergency city alarm with mobil sirens.
