Dear
Monday, October 16, 1972, at 5:00 pm, we will hold a
special meeting in the Civil Defense office located in
the County Courthouse.
The meeting agenda will cover the area of Emergency Hospital
planning for types of disasters which can produce a large
number of casualties and victims requiring medical attention.
This type of disaster can easily occur as we are vulnerable
to conditions such as tornadoes, serious bus wrecks, etc.
St. Joseph Hospital has completed its Emergency Plan and
Mrs. Hugh Eiland, Disaster Chairman for the hospital will
cover the Emergency plans formulated by the hospital.
I urge you to please attend or have someone representing
you attend this meeting and become familiar with the problems
and procedures in handling medical problems in a disaster.
