MINUTES OF DEFENSE COUNCIL MEETING
CIVIL DEFENSE OFFICE

Item I: Report on Traffic Survey for shelter movement... Mr.
Sandlin -- action to be taken.
Mr. Sandlin recommended we check with thansportation
study committee... also recommended plan for Emergency
Traffic t ttu Bryan.
We will turn over information to Traffic Planner- -
Hubert Nelson (Bryan), George Eby(Ctllege Sta.).
Get information together (Jake Canglose).
Item II: Action taken old estimated cost of shelter cards, books,
etc, for population shelters. Estimated cost $500.00,
all present agreeded to expenditures on 40- 40 -20.
ItemIIII: CSP map mounting board using pressboard was presented
and not found satisfactory. Recommended investigating
cost of wood frames with cardboard backing.
Cost information will be presented at later meeting.
ITEM IV : Bids were requested on painting Emergency Hospital
Sign and Doors.
