DIRECTORS I;ETING
Time: 6 :45 A.M., March 10, 1960
Place: Clayton's Resturant, Bryan
Business Transacted:
1. Civil Defense Council meeting plans were
mentioned. A national sleeting is to be
held in Galveston this year.
2. 200 Bed Hospital Unit was rejected for
this area by Local Medical Service. The
unit presented a storage and maintenance
problem.
3. A Tornado Spotter Network was explained
and work was, begun on the project.
4. Identification Cards bearing the name
"Brazos County Clvl Defense" will be is-
sued to all CD Personnel, regardless of
the political subdivision in which they
serve.
5. A report showed that the leaflet dist-
ribution cost the organization 432.50
for paper and stencils.
6. Livers to assist the Sheriff in locating
the County's outboard motor were made
available.
7. Communications were discussed and a
short report by Ed Davidson, Radio
Officer, explained HAM facilities.
S. Office Girls will be on duty in the CD
office on Saturday mornings, courtesy of
the local Girl Scouts.
