This is in regard to your recent request for civil defense materials
and films for use in your schools and your request addressed to
Mr. Bowden for teacher manuals, IG 3 -12 -1972, Your Chance to Live."
Under separate cover I am sending you five IG 3 -12 teacher manuals.
As you know, our funds for the CDE program were eliminated by the
Department of Defense on September 30, 1976.
We are unable to obtain any additional materials. The films are
presently being used in on -going programs throughout the state.
If any films become available at a later date, we will be glad to
provide them for use in your schools in the Bryan area.

Dear Mr. Nelson:
Mr. John Benton, who was with the Civil Preparedness Edu
Agency in Albuquerque, is with us. for a two week Emergency
Operation Exercise.
? - 1.--71 discussing the use of the publication "Your Chance to Live"
has told us sets of the 16 M.M. color sound film and the
35 M.M. film strip with casettes. That there are 13 units
in each of these sets corresponding with the several topics
covered in the publication.
We will appreciate knowing if these are available for use in
our schools and, if so, what is the procedure for obtaining
them. .
