DUTIES AND POWERS C*' SHELTER 1NAdERS
DURING NATIONAL EMERGENCIES AND
PROVIDING A PENALTY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BRYAN:
Section 1. In case of national emergency, Public Shelter
Managers duly appointed by the Civil Defense Director, shall
open public shelters, take charge of all stocks of food, water,
other supplies stored in said shelter, admit the public according
to the Cityes shelter use plan and tales whatever control measures
are necessary for the protection and safety of the occupants.
Section 2. Shelter Managers are autharisied to use reasonable
restraint against those who refuse to cooperate with the routine
of shelter living under emergency conditions. Refusal to carry out
the orders of the Shelter Manager and his appointed staff shall
be deemed a misdemeanor punishable a fine of not more than Two
Hundred (6200.00) Dollars°
