disaster planning advisor and Dr. Raymond Buck as
his assistant.

We are hoping that sometime after Thanksgiving we will
be able to coordinate a disaster hospital training
program.

MEMORANDUM NUMBER 1
DATE: October 16, 1972
SUBJECT: Coordination of Emergency Medical Recovery Effort
I. A Medical Disaster Coordinator and an Assistant Coordinator will
be appointed and will coordinate the medical recovery effort in
times of disaster for Brazos County, Bryan and College Station.
II. In the event outside assistance is needed, the medical coordinator
or his assistant will act as medical spokesman to request assis-
tance through the Texas District Director of Disaster Medical Care
District 6B.

III. The County Disaster Medical Coordinator will plan with and have
copies of all local hospital disaster plans.

routine manner, the medical coordinator and the local Civil
