Dear Sir:
Enclosed is your identification card covering your appointment
through December 31, 1978.
Appointments are made on a four year term which will run con-
currently with the County Judges r s office. At the end of this
period we will renew your appointment unless you have moved
or desire to resign.
I would appreciate your cooperation in notifying us of any
change of address or telephone number so that we will be
better able to reach you when needed.
Anytime an emergency occurs and you are called upon to assist;
your I.D. Card will be your passport and official identification
authorizing the execution of your official duties. Car decals
are available if you have not received one. You can either
contact the Civil Defense office at 822 -7373, extension 219 or
drop by this office in the Courthouse anytime from 8 to 12 AM,
Mondays thru Fridays and we will furnish you with a decal.
Officials of Brazos County, Bryan and College Station are
indebted to you for your efforts and cooperation in maintaining
a strong local government posture to meet any emergency in
our community.
It is only with your help that we can continue this program at
a minimum cost to the taxpayers. Please accept our appreciation
for your time and efforts in maintaining this program, and may
each of you have a wonderful New Year.
