Your present two -way radio transmitter may be used. (No special FCC license or notification is required to install tone equipment.) B. A PLECTRON TONE ENCODER —to supply the right activating tone to your trans- mitter, which in turn sends or broadcasts the tone. C. A PLECTRON TONE ACTIVATED FM RADIO RECEIVER (Sentry or Chief Model) in each home, office or shop where personnel are to be alerted. PLECTRON alerting receivers are completely quiet, day and night, until acti- vated by tone. Tone control eliminates the nuisance of a continuously monitor- ing receiver in the home. It prevents unwanted reception from other stations In the area and "skips" from distant stations. A tone alert commands immedi- ate attention, day or night. PLECTRON provides a choice of activation from single -tone or PLECTRON DUOTONE. PLECTRON DUOTONE is recommended in areas where single -tone 1 - '„ does not provide enough channels or sufficient falsing protection (siren t activation, etc.). There are 1190 Duotone combinations, more than enough for ;<le the most congested area or complex system.
