taking vets' names
The Brazos Valley Veterans
Memorial Board is accepting vet -
erans' names through Aug. 15 for
placement on the Wall of Honor.
The monument is on 12 acres
in the Veterans Park Athletic
Complex on Harvey Road in
College Station. The Wall of
Honor includes names of thou-
sands of veterans who served
the country
The nonprofit group is asking
for a $100 donation for each
name submitted. Board officials
said they are also accepting
additional levels of support,
including: $100 to $999 for a
veteran name on the wall and
donor name on a column;
$1,000 to $9,999 for a name
on a donor bench; $10,000 to
$24,999 for a name engraved at
the service flags; and $25,000
on up for a name engraved at
U.S., Texas and MIA flags.
