Based on this assumption, Brazos County Civil Defense establishes periodic coordination with the local military units in the county. Assistance requests for military units required by the local government in an emergency are processed through DPS to the governor for approval and activation. Any request for military assistance should be coordinated with the State Office of Emergency Manage- ment for reimbursement costs for the utilization of men and equipment. A list of all military reserve units stationed in Brazos County, the Commanding Officer and AST or liaison officer, if any, is attached. With the fairly active turnover of personnel it is recom- mended that the Military Liaison Officer for Civil Defense coor- dinate with each unit each 120 days to insure that this list be kept up to date. CRISIS RELOCATION PLAN: Bryan- College Station area has been designated as a risk area in the event of a national crisis. Under existing crisis relocation plans, persons in Brazos County will relocate to Robertson, Grimes and Burleson Counties in accordance with Brazos County CRP Planning Annexes. 1 U. S.
