Eagle Guest Book Lawrence LeTulle Stewart This Guest Book will remain online until 8/3/2010 July 09, 2010 Cousin Larry, I am really going to miss you. I was so happy when you moved to
College Station and that we were finally in the same town together again. In your short time in College Station, you made a great contribution to the city and I know you really enjoyed
all the work you did, friends you made and knowledge you gave to this city. I was so very happy to see you having such a good time. I fell lost without your being here. With love from
Ann and my cats. Ann Barr, College Station, Texas July 09, 2010 Larry stepped forward to run for City Council when neighborhoods desperately needed strong support. While he didn't campaign
as a neighborhood activist, he made it known that he felt neighborhoods should be protected and developed as the lifeblood of the community. His willingness to listen and evaluate issues
made him a friend of every College Station citizen. We'll miss Larry, but are thankful for his legacy which, hopefully, will be carried forward by other members of the council. We pray
for his blessing and for comfort for his family. Thanks, Larry, for teaching us how to care for each other. A College Park neighbor across town. Jerry Cooper, College Station, Texas
July 08, 2010 "It is by no means enough that an officer of the Navy should be a capable mariner. He must be that, of course, but also a great deal more. He should be as well a gentleman
of liberal education, refined manners, punctilious courtesy, and the nicest sense of personal honor." -John Paul Jones Anyone who met and knew Larry Stewart realizes that he had all
of the qualifications in this quote, and more. It was my pleasure to work with Larry as a city employee. He was always gracious and appreciative of the behind the scenes work needed
to make things happen. My condolences to his family and my wish for him is fair winds and following seas. Ben Roper, College Station, Texas July 07, 2010 My cousin, Larry, and I grew
up together in Houston and attended Lamar High School at the same time. He was very active on the committee for the 50th reunion of his class which will be held this October. Larry enjoyed
hunting very much and was on his third African Safari when he became ill. He was a great friend and I will miss him very much. Betty Ridley Gosse, Houston, Texas July 06, 2010
Council member Larry Stewart actively supported our city's Heritage Programs over the last few years. He loaned his father's 1939 A&M scrapbook to us so that we could scan it into our
archives. It is a rare and valuable piece of our area history. I, personally, enjoyed our visits about our mutual love of Southern Africa and writing. His friendship and leadership will
certainly be missed. My sincere condolences go out to his family, Anne Boykin, College Station, Texas July 06, 2010 My prayers and condolences to Councilmember Larry Stewart's mother,
sister and daughter during this time of loss. Mr. Stewart was a wonderful person with a great dedication to his work here at the city. He will be missed! Faye Scott, Bryan, Texas
