In the event of a nuclear attack, trained monitors will be required to furnish g information essential for the protection of people. This in- t formation will be furnished to the shelter manager and the county RADEF officer in the county emergency operation center. Every shelter is furnished a box of three radiological in- struments. 1. CDV -700 is a low range instrument that measures gamma dose z rates. 2. CDV -715 will measure gamma dose rates only and is used for t general post attacks operations. 3. CDV -742 dosimeter, is designed e geed for measuring doses of gamma radiation to operations personnel and shelter occupants. Total dose. 1 Radiological training courses are held during the year so you will have an opportunity to learn the operation of these in- struments. t RADIOLOGICAL MONITORS 1975 -1978 I.D.
