Dear REACTer:
Goodness, it's time again and we have been fairly busy so far this month. We can
use a little rest for a change. Ha! Ha!
The next Area V meeting will be on Saturday, May 5, at the Wyatt's Cafeteria at
Highway 183 and Lamar in North Austin. We need all the team to go if they can.

We have the Jazz Fest coming up on Saturday, April 21st and we need everyone to be
there to help. Standing from 11:00 A. M. until 12:00 P. M. (midnight) can get you
very tired all over. Please come help. We will make a schedule at the meeting.
Some of the major activities the team has been involved in are:
March 1, 1990 4:00 A. M.
We responded to an apartment fire (Casa Verde) 700 San Pedro, C.S., damage was
contained to the office. Coffee and gatorade were served.
March 3, 1990 2:30 A. M.
We responded to a major 1050 10 Mis. S. of College Station on Hwy. 6. 2 cars
involved, with injuries. We helped with traffic control.
March 5, 1990 3:45 A. M.
We responded to a major 1050 with injury, 1i mi. E. of FM 2776 on Hwy. 21 East.
We helped with traffic control.
March 10, 1990 6:30 P.M.
We responded to a major 1050, 1 car rollover with injuries, on Sandy Point Rd.
near the Lulac Hall. We helped with traffic control.
March 17, 1990 10:00 A. M.
We responded to a major 1050 on East By Pass north of Old Reliance overpass. 2
vehicles involved with injuries. We helped with traffic control.
March 18, 1990 4:00 P. M.
We responded to a mobile home fire on Robin Lane off Dowling Road. C. S., We
served gatorade & helped with traffic control.
Total 3 fires and 10 accidents.
Earl and I were invited to the Bryan Fire Department Awards Banquet Thursday night
and REACT was presented with a Certificate of Appreciation. The food was great and
the company was even better. Thank you again.
