Composit Squadron met with I the Brazos Civil Defense and Radio Amature Civil Service (R.A.C.E.S.), on the A &M Campus Wednesday, June 23, 1976. This meeting was held in the Radar Room of the Oceanology - Meteorology Building. Inform- ative films and film strips were • f viewed concerning tornados and the Emergency Operations Services (EOC). Present, also, were members of the RACES from Robertson, Milam, and i Washington counties. The highlight of the evening for the Cadets was the Lookout Tower on the 15th floor of the I building, overlooking the Bry- an- College Station areas, and the radar monitoring room. A military M37 3/4 ton cargo truck was received by the Cal- vert High School Civil Air Pat- rol Squadron recently. It was delivered by Major James E. ,Jollie of Houston, the CAP Texas Wing Transportation Of- ficer. This vehicle which has 4 wheel -drive and a heavy duty wench and cable, will be used in support of established CAP C programs, as authorized by AP directives, such as author- ized search and rescue mis- sions, unit effectiveness, evalu- ation and routine administra- tion. The newly re- activated Brazos County Composit Squadron also received one of these vehicles.
