Dear Sir: Reference our license application for Brazos County Civil Defense, Bryan, Texas, frequency 155.280 mhz; the following information is being submitted for justification of the requested frequency. Our existing License (KUN 888) file # 18415 -PS-44 assigned frequency 155.16 mhz is being shared with the Brazos County school system and is being used for Civil Defense Communic- ation and Emergency Communication with the school system. Frequency 155.280 mhz is needed for use as an Emergency Warning channel for Civil Defense Emergencies such as tornado Aerts, local disasters, etc. This frequency will be used with tone actuated receivers. Due to 155.16 mhz being used as a shared communication channel, we cannot use this channel for warning purposes without possible local interri'ption by another local station.
