Hear Visitors N/A Agenda Item #4: Absence Request Absence requests were approved. (EA/si) Agenda Item #5: Approval of the minutes Motion was made, seconded to approve the minutes of
February 2, 2009. (EA/si) Agenda Item #6: Possible action and discussion on HPC Report to Council. Anne will meet with members of the HPC to discuss talking points for the presentation.
Agenda Item #7: Possible action and discussion on El Camino Real de los Tejas National Historic Trail. Anne B. reported on the progress of the planning committee. Agenda Item #8: Possible
action and discussion on new software for Project HOLD website. Anne B. reported that Tony has approved the purchase of PastPerfect software. Discussions with members of the IT department
are ongoing.
Agenda Item #9: Possible action and discussion on CSISD celebration, “100 Years of Class.” Anne B. reported on the progress of the planning committee. The event will be May 13, 6:00
p.m. at the A&M Consolidated High School. Agenda Item #10: Possible action and discussion on original College Station street markers. Anne B. reported that Lee Robinson is working on
a design for wrought iron stands for the street markers. The Big Event students will paint the markers on Saturday, March 28. Agenda Item #11: Possible action and discussion on Texas
Historical Commission Annual Conference. Anne B. will be attending the THC Conference in Lakeway. She invited the committee to attend. Agenda Item #12: Committee Reports: Landmark Commission
(Hillary) Hillary reported that the committee is still getting organized. They will be conducting appraisals of structures in Oakwood, College Hills and The Knoll. Hillary also reported
that Historic Marker Home #18 at 501 Kerry Street is being subdivided. The committee will send a letter to the owners. Exploring History Lunch Lectures (Ernie, James and Hillary) See
the calendar. Historic Markers (Meredith, Hillary and James) Meredith will be working with the church in the Lincoln area to apply for a marker. Oral History Project (Lou and Anne T.)
No report given. Project HOLD (Lou, Colleen, Susan and Anne T.) Anne suggested scanning schedules on Tuesday, Thursday and possibly Sunday. See attached report. Education Committee (Ernie,
