COLLEGE STATION SETTING ASSESSIJE 7 FOR GARBAGE DISPOSAL IN THE CITY OF COLLEGE
STATION, AND PROVIDING FOR AN EF=F FIVE DATE.
ORDINANCE NO. 1369
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION THAT:
I.
CHAPTER. 11, SECTION 5 I. MJNTHLY CHARGES; PAYINTENIT OF IS HEREBY MPMDED TO READ
AS FOLLOWS:
I. 11ONTHLY CHARGES; PAY.,= OF
(1) There shall be charges assessed and collected from each person, firm,
or corporation within the city limits the following monthly assessment
charges for garbage disposal:
Each dwelling unit (single or multi- family) $4.20
Small appliance shops, cleaning establishments,
filling stations, photographic shops, etc. $20.40
Large places of business and all schools shall be
charged by the container:
2 yard container $45.48
3 yard container $57.36
6 yard container $93.00
(2) Payments must be received at the city utility office on or before
the due date to avoid late chrages. Payment received after the due
date will be assessed a penalty equaling ten percent (10 %) of the current
month's charges with a minimum charge of three dollars (3.00).

CHAPTER, 11, SECTION 5 IS HEREBY MENDED BY TI1E ADDITION OF SUB - SECTION U.
EFFECTIVE DATE OF A40NTHLY CHARGE FOR GARBAGE DISPOSAL AS FCT-MT!S:
U. EFFECTIVE DATE OF D101\71ILY CHARGES FOR GA -RBAGE DISPOSAL
These rates shall be effective on all invoices submitted by the City of
College Station to users on or after July 1, 1982.
III.
Should any section, paragraph, sentence, clause, phrase, or word of this
ordinance be declared unconstitutional or invalid for any purpose, the remainder
of this ordinance shall not be affected thereby.

IV.
All ordinances or Darts of ordinances in conflict herewith are repealed
to the extent of the conflict only.
V.
And, it is ordained that this ordinance shall become effective from and after
its passage in accordance with the city charter of the City of College Station.
