AN ORDINANCE REZONING A 19.072 ACRE TRACT OF LAND LYING AND BEING SITUATED IN
THE MORGAN RECTOR SURVEY, ABSTRACT NO. 46, BR�ZOS COUNTY, TEXAS FROM AGRICULTURAL
OPEN DISTRICT A -0 TO SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIA DISTRICT R -1.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS:
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing in the City Hall at 7:00 p.m.
on September 10, 1981 , on the question of rezoning certain areas within the
city limits,
AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has determined the following:
To rezone or change the classification of a 19.072 acre tract or parcel of
land, lying and being situated in the MORGAN RECTOR SURVEY, Abstract 46,
in College Station, Brazos County, Texas, and being a part of that 70.293 acre
tract conveyed to WILDEWOOD JOINT VENTURE by Leon W. Stasney, et -al, by deed
recorded in Volume 377, Page 34 of the Deed Records of Brazos County, Texas,
and being more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at an iron rod at the east corner of Lot 27, Block Two of Windwood,
Phase Two according to a plat recorded in Volume 463, Page 365 of the Deed
Records of Brazos County, Texas;
THENCE S 45 02' 37" E - 956.29 feet to an iron rod for corner;
THENCE S 45 00' 00" W - 905.00 feet to a point for corner;
THENCE N 45 00' 00" W - 209.32 feet to a curve to the right;
THENCE 188.49 feet around said curve to the right with a central angle of 12 ° 56'02"
and a radius of 835.00 feet and whose chord bears N 38 ° 31' 59" W - 188.09 feet;
THENCE N 32 03' 58" W - 621.94 feet to a point for corner;
THENCE N 61 52' 01" E - 70.17 feet, N 45 18' 20" e - 476.36 feet, N 70 03'
24" E - 55.23 feet and N 44 55' 19" E - 150.35 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING
and containing 19.072 acres of land, more or less, according to a survey made
under the supervision of Donald D. Garrett, Registered Public Surveyor, No.
2972 in July, 1981 from Agricultural Open District A -0 to Single Family Residential
District R -1.
And, it is ordained that the said change shall be effective immediately.
