AN ORDINANCE VACATING AN ACCESS EASEMENT OF LOT 23, BLOCK 16, SECTION 3,
AN ADDITION TO THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS.
Said access easement being more particularly described as follows:
Being all that certain tract or parcel of land, lying and being
situated in the Crawford Burnett League in College Station, Brazos
County, Texas, and being a part of Lot Twenty -three (23), Block Sixteen (16),
SOUTHWOOD VALLEY, SECTION 3, an addition to the City of College Station,
Brazos County, Texas as the plat of same is of record in Volume 342, Page
605 of the Deed Records of Brazos County, Texas, described as 60' Access
& Parking Easement, and being more particularly described as follows:
COMMENCING: At the most easterly corner of Lot 23 in Block 16 of the
said Southwood Valley, Section 3;
THENCE: N 48 degrees 33' 45" W - 30.00 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING;
THENCE: S 41 degrees 26' 15" W - 60.00 feet through Lot 23;
THENCE: N 48 degrees 33' 45" W - 214.90 feet through Lot 23;
THENCE: N 41 degrees 17' 00" E - 60.00 feet through Lot 23;
THENCE: S 48 degrees 33' 45" E - 214.90 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING
and containing 0.30 acres of land more or less.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas,
that;
WHEREAS, it has come to the attention of the City Council of the City of
College Station that there is an access easement dedicated to the
City of College Station by plat; and
WHEREAS, said access easement is not needed and will not be needed in the
future; and
IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED AND ORDAINED that such access easement be vacated
and abandoned; that the Mayor and City Secretary be authorized to
release on behalf of the City of College Station any right or
claim which the City has in and to said easement.
