WILLIAMS IN THE DEED DESCRIBED IN VOLUME 252, PAGE 445, OF THE DEED RECORDS OF BRAZOS, COUNTY, TEXAS, AND BEING MORE PARTICULARLY DES- CRIBED BY METES AND BOUNDS IN THIS ORDINANCF. FROM AGRICULTURAL /OPEN DISTRICT A -0 AND SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT R -lTO PLANNED INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT M -1. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS: WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing in the City Hall at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 8, 1981 on the question of rezoning certain areas within the city limits; AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has determined the following: To rezone or change the classification of all that certain 53.883 acre tract or par- cel of land lying and being situated in the Morgan Rector Survey, Abstract No. 46, Brazos County, Texas, and being a part of the 66.96 acre tract conveyed by Rosa Krenek to Glynn A. Williams in the deed described in Volume 252, page 445 of the Deed Records of Brazos County, Texas, and being more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at an iron rod found, at fence corner, marking the north corner of the beforementioned 66.69 acre tract, said iron rod also being the west corner of Lot 9, Block One, Raintree Subdivision, Section Three, according,to plat recorded in Volume 419, page 41 of the Deed Records of Brazos County, Texas; THENCE S 45 0 00'00" E along the northeast line of the beforementioned 66.69 acre tract for a distance of 1305.13 feet to an iron rod, at fence corner, marking the east corner of the said 66.69 acre tract, said iron rod also being the south corner of Lot 1, Block Three, of the beforementioned Raintree Subdivision; THENCE along the southeast line of the beforementioned 66.69 acre tract adjacent to a fence as follows: S 44 0 27'33" W -- 680.57 feet to a 28" Post Oak Tree; S 46 0 11'08" W -- 124.29 feet to a 10" Post Oak Tree; S 45 0 43'47" W -- 333.31 feet to a post; S 43 0 51'15" W -- 904.95 feet to an iron rod set in the east right -of -way line of State Highway No. 6 (East Bypass) THENCE along the east right -of -way line of the beforementioned State Highway No. 6 (East Bypass) as follows: N 23 0 41'04" W -- 739.61 feet to a concrete right -of -way marker found, N 27 0 40'23" W -- 649.38 feet to a concrete right -of -way marker found in the southeast line of Stasney Lane (40 feet wide); THENCE N 44 0 51'18" E along the fence marking the southeast line of Stasney Lane for a distance of 285.14 feet and corner; THENCE N 45 0 59'32" W for a distance of 12.02 feet to an iron rod found in the north- west line of the beforementioned 66.96 acre tract; in t).33"9 ORDINANCE NO. 1258 Page 2 THENCE N 44 0 56'54" E along the fence found marking the northwest line of the �Mw beforementioned 66.96 acre tract for a distance of 1295.66 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING and containing 53.883 acres of land, more or less, from Single Family Residential District R -1 and Agricultural /Open District A -0 to Planned Industrial District M -1.
