AN ORDINANCE REZONING A 0.25 ACRE TRACT OF LAND IN THE MORGAN RECTOR LEAGUE,
ABSTRACT 46, BRAZOS COUNTY, TEXAS AND BEING A PORTION OF THOSE TWO TRACTS
CONVYED TO L.S. KIRKPATRICK ET UX BY V.J. BORISKI ET UX BY DEED RECORDED IN
VOLUME 193, PAGE 89 OF THE DEED RECORDS OF BRAZOS COUNTY, TEXAS AND MORE
PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED IN THE BODY OF THIS ORDINANCE FROM APARTMENT BUILDING
DISTRICT R -4 TO GENERAL COMMERCIAL DISTRICT C -1.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS.

WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing in the City Hall at 7:00 P.M.
on Thursday, July 24, 1980 on the question of rezoning certain areas within the
City Limits;
AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has determined the following:
To rezone or change the classification of a 0.25 acre tract of land lying and
being situated in the Morgan Rector League, Abstract 46, Brazos County, Texas
and being a portion of those two tracts conveyed to L.S. Kirkpatrick, et ux,
by V.J. Boriski, et ux, by deed recorded in Volume 193, page 89 of the Deed
Records of Brazos County, Texas and being more particularly described by
metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING: at the west corner of a 0.50 acre tract conveyed to E & G Properties
by deed recorded in Volume 325, page 261 of the Deed Records of Brazos County,
Texas, said corner also lying in the northeast right -of -way line of Texas
Avenue;
THENCE N 42 -54" E along the northwest line of the aforementioned 0.50
acre tract for a distance of 206.99 feet to an iron rod for angle point;
THENCE N 41 - 55" E for a distance of 93.05 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING;
THENCE continuing N 41 E a distance of 58.87 feet to an iron rod for
corner;
THENCE N 49 W a distance of 181.17 feet to a corner post;
THENCE S 41 W a distance of 56.69 feet to a point for corner;
THENCE S 49 - 16" E a distance of 181.96 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING and
containing 0.25 acres of land, more or less, from Apartment Building District
R -4 to General Commercial District C -1.
AND, it is ordained that said change shall become effective immediately.
