AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1104, WHICH ADOPTS THE SOUTHERN STANDARD
FIRE PREVENTION CODE. THIS IS A CODE CHANGE CONCERNING THE POSSESSION OF,
STORAGE OF, SALE OF AND USE OF FIREWORKS WITHIN THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS:
Chapter 17 Fireworks be amended to read as follows:
Section 17.06 seizure of fireworks:
The Fire or Police Authority having jurisdiction shall seize, take, remove
and destroy any and all stocks of fireworks offered or exposed for sale,
stored, or held in violation of this chapter. This shall be done at the
owner's expense.
