AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 850 AND AMENDMENT ORDINANCES
1065 AND 1118.
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing in the City Hall at 7 :00 p.m.
on Thursday, June 12 , 1980 on the question of amending the Zoning Ordinance
No. 850 and its amendment Ordinances 1065 and 1118;
AND,WHEREAS, the City Council has determined to amend Ordinances 850, 1065, and
1118;
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS;
The Zoning Ordinance 850 and its amending Ordinances 1065 and 1118 are hereby
amended as follows:
Section 5- F.2.C. shall be amended to read as follows:
5- F.2.C. SITE PLAN PERMIT PROCEDURE:
An Applicant shall contact the Department of Planning for an initial feasibility
review discussion. The Director of Planning shall provide the Applicant with
an appropriate application form and all necessary information for the Applicant
to proceed.
An Applicant shall file said application form with the Director of Planning.
Said form shall be supplemented with a blueline or blackline print of the
Project Plan, supportive materials and a legal description of the site for
which the site plan permit is sought.
The Director of Planning shall notify the Applicant of the date, time, and
place for the preliminary review of the application by the project Review
Committee.
The Project Review Committee shall review the proposed site plan and record its
deliberations. If the plan includes nine (9) or more units on each lot, or
if the applicant or P.R.C. desires, the plan shall be forwarded to the Planning
and Zoning Commission for their consideration. The Project Review Committee
shall submit written recommendations to the Commission. The Commission may
recommend the imposition of additional conditions where said conditions are
essential for the protection of the public health, safety, and general welfare.
